RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS RE-HOMED IN 2012

Below are brief details of Rhodesian Ridgebacks re-homed during 2012. We would like to offer our deepest thanks to all of their new owners for giving these boys and girls another chance.

These are the lucky ones but some are left behind; still seeking those special people to offer them another chance.

Could you be one of the special ones? If you think you could be please go to the Re-Homing Page for further details.

 Thank You.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks Re-Homed in 2012
Ellie - We don't know what happened to this girl, she has disappeared from the RSPCA in Chesterfield's web site!
Age 8 Years
Female

We have been asked by the RSPCA to help in finding Ellie a new home.

She apparently was abandoned by her previous owners and suffers with arthritis in some joints. It seems she is not great around other dogs but has lived with cats. According to the RSPCA  she is very sweet natured and will make a great companion, full details here http://www.chesterfield-rspca.org.uk/pets-for-adoption/older-animal-pages-oap/older-animals-for-adoption/621-ellie-w2011068

Are you that Special Person who is able to take on Ellie and her medical needs?

Dillon - Both Boys have found homes
Age 5 Years
Male

Rudi
Age 4 1/2 Years
Male

Dillon and Rudi came to us as kennel mates. Dillon appears to be the leader and is a little more outgoing of the two. They have lived with older children, teenagers.

While we would like to re-home them together, we appreciate that this may not be possible and would consider re-homing them individually.

Do you have room for this dynamic duo?

Riot - Has Been Found a New Home
Age 14 Months
Male

We only have the sketchiest details of Riot. Living in a multi-dog household Riot is destructive when left to his own devices. At his age he will need an experienced owner.

Do you have the experience to quell a Riot?

Leo - Can Now Stay in His Own Home!
Age 8 Years
Male

As with many, Leo appears to be a victim of the recession.

He has lived with three children and seems to be quite placid. He is a bit on the portly side!

Can you find a nice warm spot for this lad to spend his autumnal years?

Shaka - Has found his new home!
Age 2 1/2 Years
Male

Due to the sad passing of his master, Shaka is looking for a new home.

Shaka is a lively lad in need of plenty of exercise and his mistress is unable to cope with him.

It seems that this boy, while good with children and obedient at home, needs firm leadership when out and about. Someone with long experience with ridgebacks would be ideal for him. Is that you?
