Ridgeback Rescue

Below are brief details of Rhodesian Ridgebacks re-homed during 2010. We would like to offer our deepest thanks to all of their new owners for giving these boys and girls another chance.
These are the lucky ones but some are left behind; still seeking those special people to offer them another chance.
Could you be one of the special ones? If you think you could be please go to the Re-Homing Page for further details.
Thank You.

Paddy Age 10 Years Male Rosie Age 8 Years Female Have found themselves a lovely home together!!! Due to their owner passing away Paddy and Rosie are looking for a new home. They have always lived together as family dogs so we would like to re-home them as a couple. While in our care neither have presented any sign of a problem and seem to be taking the whole thing in their stride. Do you have the nice warm corner that these two are seeking in which to spend their twilight years? Update 27th February 2010 Photos of Paddy and Rosie have arrived! As you can see Paddy never quite made it to being a swan but he is of delightful temperament. Rosie is so sweet but still a little boistrous. Are they for you perhaps? June 2010 |

Zimba -
Has found a new home! Age 9 Years Male Unfortunately Zimba is once again looking for a new home. He is reported as a placid dog who is good with children and other dogs. While with us in kennels he has been the perfect gentleman exhibiting a lovely temperament. However, he gets extremely distressed in a home environment when left alone. For someone who is always at home or can take him with them when going out, he would make the perfect companion. Could that be you? The photo of Zimba was taken in May 2009, a very handsome boy.
