I have the best experience in adopting a rescue. We have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Spud who we have had since a puppy and Abbie we adopted last January through the society.
We
were not looking for another dog, but my husband fell in love with Abbie
whilst working at her then owners home. Since then she has become a very
important part of our lives and Spud could not live without her now. I think
one of the issue with rescue dogs have is that the can be unpredictable I am
happy to say that Abbie the most well behaved Ridgeback ever (except when it
comes to coffee). She has all the Ridgeback traits, loves sleeping, eating
and lots of attention. She demands that anyone who comes to the house nurses
her for hours on end each evening around 9pm she insists on curling up on
the sofa with her favourite blanket an moans until she gets what she wants.
I
