Good friends of Rescue, Neil & Linda Thomas, organized a Family Dog Show specifically to raise funds to pay for Buster's Operation.
Buster is a young dog who needed an operation to correct entropion. This is an eye condition where the eyelids turn inward thereby enabling the eyelashes to irritate the eyeball.
He has now had the operation which seems to have been a complete success and has relieved him of the discomfort and pain that he had been feeling, possibly for months, before he came to us for re-homing.
The Best in Show was Mrs Smith's Rottweiler with Mrs Brazil's Golden Retriever taking Reserve Best in Show.
Our thanks to all who took part and contributed to the sum raised of £275.
